The Beginning Would Feel Like The End.
I Had Been Warned.
Okay, so, I badly want to see The Host.
I feel really bad for the book and movie, personally. People who dislike Twilight are all, “So Jared is Edward and Ian is Jacob hurrhurr” even though - yeah sure, Wanda does like 2 guys, but that’s the only similarity she has to Bella - it’s a complete other story and has nothing to do with Twilight. People who like Twilight, on the other hand, are either blowing it off as if it won’t be as good as Twilight, or are going to see it just because it’s written by Stephenie Meyer.
I hated Twilight - I’ll come out and say it, I couldn’t even get past the first chapter without dying of boredom. But unlike some people, I don’t judge a book based on another book written by the same author.
Yet I adored this book. I’ve read it 2 and a half times - currently reading it for the third time - and it’s one of my favourite books. Ian x Wanda is also a ship I wholeheartedly supported from the moment he first starts getting to know her better.
